Great Beatles Review

The venue at the Oakdale theater is a great place to a see a show like this. I had great seats actually in the front row, but once again was somewhat foiled by the band’s or the venue’s preference fir placing speakers at the edge of the stage partially blocking people’s views in the first three rows, especially in the center. The show started about five minutes late but then ran at a good pace. They were good covers of songs from the early 60s through the concert on the rooftop somewhere very close to the originals. Well others had minor changes in inflection and rhythm. Eleanor Rigby, Sergean Pepper, Golden Slumbers, were superb, as was Hey Jude. I loved “I Dig a Pony”. George was nearest in appearance and voice and John was close musically. Paul was excellent but had a a more guttural type Boyce. Overall a great show and well worth the price of admission . We would go again. One of the few tribute bands we will see.
